Should send this 2 George

More Othello - 57-5 ... 44-20 ... 59-0! ... 40-24 ... 48-16 ... 63-1! as I got the final 5 or 6 moves a record score on this particular version! ... 46-18 ... then 27-31 as I carelessly concede the first corner becomes 37-27 ... 50-14 ... 40-24 ... 52-12 ... 61-2! ... 47-17 ... 49-15 ... is that already my best sequence of wins ever? ... 42-22 ... 37-27 ... 37-27 ... 42-22 ... 46-17 ... then 40-12 but no safe moves 4 me becomes 43-21 but it made a couple of unwise moves ... 60-0! ... 48-16 ... 45-19 ... 53-11 ... 49-15 ... 31-27 and looking dodgy becomes well it makes another unwise move NOT exploiting a line of five becomes 48-16 ... finally blew one as it gets the last three moves to beat me 28-36 oh well it was fun while it lasted :)

More interesting quotes - could shoot that along 2 the forum :)

Found an old ep of Seinfeld while channel surfin :)

Continuing the theme

Later in that same episode :)

More weird sport ... who would have thought you could make the finals with ten wins and under 100 as your percentage - may find a link to a match report

Continuing the theme - looks like we will win 20 out of 22 and the 2 losses were 2 teams NOT in the finals ... it's a funny game!

Ooops ... spoke 2 soon! Essendon come from 28 points down to lead by 14 ... hmmm ... probly epitomises Hawthorn's season - and even more injuries ... so even if they did win they'd be struggling in the finals ...

JUst heard on the news - Geelong sets an impressive record of being the first team ever to win 18 or more games in three consecutive seasons ... shame it may only get one flag out of it!

Recent events remind me of some of this advice :) I really like this bit - just pause for a moment and reflect on all the emotional energy that has been expended throughout human history on trying to 'prove a point' or persuade a fellow being to 'see things my way' - barely remember it! - even decided 2 send it along 2 George

Watched some exciting sport - Geelong make it 61 out of 68 - must have been 55 of 58 before we beat them in round 14!

Answers to our word game - UNOCCUPIED UNUSUAL OPAQUE EQUIPMENT QUESTIONING PICTURESQUE EXHIBITING WARMTH AND ONE I DON'T RECALL :)

Some Othello at the end of a LONG day - 42-22 ... 38-26 ... 49-15 ... 51-13 ... 50-14 ... 46-7 but looking bad becomes 36-28 but it blew a huge chance! ... 39-25 ... 41-23 ... 46-18 ... 40-24 ... 42-22 ... 40-24 ... 44-20 ... five in a row in the forties :) ... 42-22 despite it getting the final 3 moves! ... 22-42 as I get a real raw deal with the diagonals ... oh well :)

Another old links page leads us here

Also 4 Mum when she gets back - I like the 'cracked pot' :)

Leads 2 this search - could shoot that along 2 the forum

And this as well - comes from an old forum link

Signed up 4 this daily email service - could add that 2 our positive list? - and I did :)

Ought 2b a lovely faceless nameless figure sitting in a peaceful meditative pose

Looking over some old links ... like this section I barely remember - 'Yes, if you feel the need to insult or ridicule or diminish those you disagree with, you've already lost far more than just the argument before it even begins ... and I know this from direct painful personal experience!'

Tennis results - final Tues morn?

Speaking of sport it is 29 Celsius at the start of a NIGHT match at this time of year ... don't know who that will favour ... turns into an absolute classic ... Adelaide by 32 points early in the second quarter ... Collingwood by 11 points in the third ... Adelaide by 7 ... Collingwood by 6 ... Adelaide by 1 point with a minute 2 go ... Collingowod win by 5 ... at least Mum & Dad will be happy (for a week?)

Oh yes .. listened 2 the CD George gave me last night - very soothing but I still prefer the Gyuto monks guided meditation disc with the chanting

I should also ask George about Mike Oldfield & Tangerine Dream - yes, music is something we haven't discussed a lot :)

Contuinuing the theme - click

Thinking of posting this 2 the forum

From searching for excerpts from the book I am currently reading

Idea from a recent email - could add that 2 our hurry up page

Author I wouldn't mind readin

Another Othello session - 44-20 ... 49-15 ... tie! where I got the roughest deal imaginable and don't quite know how I did NOT lose :) ... seriously considered going 2 bed then played one more for 60-4!!
